A premium builder. A considered purchase.

Agua Vida is the outdoor living arm of Stephen Alexander Homes, a custom home builder based in Virginia Beach. Its team builds luxury pools, pool houses, pergolas and complete backyards across Coastal Virginia. The ideal buyer is investing in a substantial home improvement, often with a six-figure budget. The marketing needed to explain the difference between a custom architectural project and a simple installation, then give that homeowner a clear way to start a conversation.

The Challenge

The craftsmanship was there. The buying journey needed work.

The existing Squarespace website showed the business, but did little to guide an ad visitor toward the right project inquiry. Before scaling paid campaigns, we needed stronger positioning, focused destinations and a connected sales process.

Explain the premium

Pool houses and pergolas were underrepresented. Homeowners needed to understand Agua Vida’s custom building capabilities, the project scope and what set the team apart.

Give each campaign a destination

The account needed dedicated pages, consistent inquiry forms and a thank-you step so the path from ad click to conversion could be measured.

Carry the inquiry into sales

Email and phone inquiries had no shared CRM pipeline. The team needed lead-source context, notifications and visible opportunity stages to manage follow-up.

The Solution

Three parts. One connected buying journey.

The work connected what the homeowner saw with what the sales team needed next: a compelling offer, a focused inquiry page and a CRM record that kept the campaign context attached.

- Deliverable 01

Make the value clear. Make the next step easy.

We redesigned the Home, Pools, Full Backyard, Contact and Thank You pages in Squarespace. Two dedicated campaign pages then matched the main offers: custom pools, and pool houses and pergolas.

  • Positioned Agua Vida around custom construction, engineering and a home builder’s capabilities.
  • Combined real project photography, reviews, project expectations, the process and FAQs in the landing-page story.
  • Placed a project inquiry form near the top, with a dedicated thank-you page for conversion tracking.

- Deliverable 02

Give every inquiry a place in the pipeline.

We connected the website and landing-page forms to a CRM. The sales team could see the inquiry, its source and its stage in one place, with automated notifications supporting the handoff.

  • Captured lead source, campaign and landing-page context alongside the inquiry.
  • Organized opportunities into pipeline stages so follow-up had a shared record.
  • Connected form submissions and the thank-you step to conversion tracking.

- Deliverable 03

Connect campaign decisions to sales outcomes.

Google campaigns targeted local searches for pool builders, pool houses and pergolas. Meta campaigns used project photography and video to reach homeowners planning a backyard investment.

  • Matched search intent and ad copy to the relevant landing page across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Hampton Roads.
  • Used actual completed-project imagery to communicate the quality and scope of the offer.
  • Reviewed campaign performance against CRM pipeline data every two weeks.

The Results

The first 90 days, measured beyond the inquiry.

The campaign record separates signed projects, qualified pipeline and media spend. Pipeline represents opportunities, not completed sales; the figures below are shown separately and are not added together. The 31× figure compares signed contract value with media spend, rather than profit or cash collected.

Signed Project Value

$468k

Closed business: signed projects attributed to the landing pages and campaigns in the first 90 days.

Qualified Pipeline

$1.07M

Qualified, quoted opportunities recorded in the CRM from paid traffic over the same period.

Google + Meta Ad Spend

$15k

Media investment across the same 90-day window. This figure is ad spend, not total project or agency cost.

Signed Value / Ad Spend

31x

$468,000 ÷ $15,000 = 31.2×, rounded to 31×. Signed value is not a measure of profit or cash collected.
