Give the work room
A single service page could not carry the portfolio, process and range of the landscape business.
We gave McDonald Landscapes a dedicated digital home for its design and installation work, then connected the website, local campaigns and CRM to help the team respond faster.
McDonald Landscapes grew out of an eighty-year horticultural legacy in Hampton Roads. The work extended well beyond plants: estate landscapes, stone patios, outdoor lighting and carefully considered spaces built around the way a client lives. Online, that breadth was compressed into a single page on the McDonald Garden Center website. A homeowner could know the retail brand without understanding the scale of its landscape design and installation work. We set out to give that business a distinct place to tell its story. The website would make the work visible, explain how to begin a design conversation and connect new interest to a sales process the team could manage.
The Challenge
The opportunity was to make the design business easier to understand and easier to contact, then give every inquiry a clear route to the right person.
A single service page could not carry the portfolio, process and range of the landscape business.
Different project sizes called for a more useful starting point than a generic contact request.
Source tracking and follow-up needed to sit alongside the new website.
The Solution
We paired a visual portfolio and consultation experience with local acquisition and HubSpot follow-up. Each part supported the next: discover, explore, inquire and respond.
- Deliverable 01
The new site gives the landscape practice its own identity while retaining the trust of the McDonald name. Project stories and a clear design process help homeowners picture the possibilities before requesting a consultation.
- Deliverable 02
We connected targeted search campaigns to the new website and brought inquiries into HubSpot. Source information and automated follow-up gave the team a clearer view of where prospects came from and what needed attention.
